Children become dinosaur detectives with “Paleontologist Illinois Bones” to learn about the world of dinosaurs. Fossils are discovered to create awareness of dinosaur sizes, footprints, eggs, horns, teeth, and bones.
Though no living examples of dinosaurs are available, this program promises to bring these creatures to life in your students’ imaginations.

A PALEONTOLOGIST is a scientist who looks for clues left by plants or animals thousands or millions of years ago. These clues are called fossils. Sometimes by searching in the rock, fossil bones of animals are discovered. Scientists that find these fossil bones must then take the bones back to their laboratory, piece the bones together, and try to determine what animal left the bones behind.
